I just received the email notification from the AppStore review team : FolderBuddy for GMail has been approved and should be soon available in the AppStore.
What is FolderBuddy for GMail you are going to ask ! Simple :-) We got many requests from various users that like the overall concept for FolderBuddy but they were interested only to use FolderBuddy with their GMail account and thus they did not need the full support for other IMAP providers. So we have decided to create a new version for FolderBuddy that work only with GMail. You still have the same set of features as the main FolderBuddy but limited only to access @gmail.com account.
Here is a screenshot showing 2 GMail account setup and the menu to tap for adding a new account.
If you are interested to use different IMAP provider then FolderBuddy is the recommended application.
